Being a freshman can be exciting but can also be a lot of pressure depending on the situation. However, there can be freshman that are more than ready to perform and contribute to their high schools right away. Here are some freshmen to keep an eye on for the 2018-2019 high school season.
KJ Stafford – Freedom HS 5’10’ PG
Stafford is a really good athlete and plays excellent on-ball defense. His jump-shot has also improved over the summer.
Ethan Sy – American Canyon HS 5’7′ PG
Ethan has a great motor and goes hard every minute that he is on the floor. He shoots it well from the outside and does a good job of penetrating to the basket.
Davion Williams – Vallejo HS 5’7′ PG
Solid point guard who is undersized but is a very tough player. He still needs to add strength and become more consistent shooting from the outside but he definitely has potential.
Alex Argandar – Modesto Christian HS 6’0′ Guard
Alex maybe the best freshman in the Modesto/Stockton area due to his skill level. He can shoot, attack the basket, and he is one tough kid. Alex will do well during his high school season.
