2020 : Unknown Post Players
Prep Hoops is keeping up despite the hurricane festivities here in the Lowcountry of South Carolina. Lets take a look at some of the 2020 Unknown Post Players in this article.
Devon Bristow – McBee HS (McBee)
Bristow is a virtual unknown to everyone despite Prep Hoops. Bristow 6’7 plays at little McBee HS in the Pee Dee. Bristow didn’t play any Grassroots basketball this past season. Bristow is a very RAW talent and it will be interesting to see how he plays this season for Panthers Head Coach Patrick Cook.
Jacquez Shuler – Bethune-Bowman (Rowesville)
Shuler notified Prep Hoops recently that he’s now attending Bethune-Bowman HS this season. Shuler 6’8 attended Denmark-Olar HS before transferring over to Bethune-Bowman HS. Shuler didn’t play last season for the Vikings and played some limited basketball this summer with the Carolina Wolves 16U. Shuler started with the Orangeburg Xpress before they ceased operations. Shuler is a RAW talent just like Bristow.
Danari Ladson – Dillon HS
Ladson 6’4 really likes to carve out space in the paint playing with his back to the basket. Ladson runs the floor well and will look to post up. Ladson never seems to leave the paint and plays bigger than his size on the floor. Ladson has been a fixture with Big Shots South Carolina.
John Rogers – TL Hanna HS (Anderson)
Rogers came up late last season for TL Hanna HS. Rogers should contribute some solid minutes this seaon for Head Coach Keith Arrington and the Yellow Jackets. Rogers can play inside-out on the floor and can knockdown the 15-17 footer. Rogers played with Team South Carolina on the Grassroots Circuit.
Dorian Miles – Eastside HS (Taylors) (pictured on front)
Miles 6’6 is a load in the paint at times and really likes to use his body to draw contact. Miles is a hard worker in the paint. Miles will rebound on both sides of the floor. Miles has soft hands and finishes on contact. Miles played with Upward Stars Upstate Silver 16U.
