As juniors, players should be thinking about the next level as college will begin for them in less than 2 years. 4 year schools or junior colleges will begin to reach out and show interest in them as they start to develop into their talents. These juniors listed below are putting themselves in a position to get on the radar for colleges as they have all improved their stock heading into the high school season. Here are a few stock risers out of the class of 2020.
Connor Jenkins – 6’0′ Tamalpais HS PG
Jenkins is a very smart basketball player who shoots the ball well and has a descent handle. Expect a breakout year from him.
Tyler Reed – 6’1′ Tamalpais HS PG
Reed is a high IQ guard who doesn’t need to score the basketball to effect the game. He is great at setting up his teammates.
Dayton Magana – 5’8′ Central Catholic HS PG
Dayton is a true floor general who also defends at a high level. He is working on staying consistent as he prepares for a huge junior season.
Braxton Copeland – 6’0′ St. Patrick-St. Vincent’s HS PG
Copeland is a crafty guard who can get to the paint but also create for others. With the departure of Chance Braxton will be needed for the Bruins.
Daylan Johnson – 6’0′ Vallejo HS SG
Daylan is developing at a very fast rate. His ball handling and shooting has improved a lot which has elevated his game as well. Expect a good year from him.
