He is another player with an extremely long wingspan, impressive athleticism and the versatility to play at the SF, PF or Center spot when needed.
Northside-Jax Quincy Martin: This past season on the JV level and during the past AAU season with 910 Vengeance he showed what he could do and now we look forward to seeing him make his mark at the varsity level. The versatility he brings to a squad is something we like as well as his ability to make plays above the rim on both ends of the floor.
New Life Christian Jeremyah McWilliams: As one D1 coach told us two weeks ago, the move to reclassify was a great idea for him and he know has a chance to play and work his way up recruitment wise. There is a lot to like about him without a doubt such as: 6’8 with long arms, runs the floor well, blocks shots, very coachable, great student and the scary part is this will only be his second season of varsity basketball.
Terry Sanford Kyron Kelly: There are a lot of question marks that he will have the opportunity to answer this season. Last season he played on the JV level but had some buzz to his name over the summer with Flight 22 Fayetteville. We are interested to see how he transitions to the varsity level and how quickly he will be able to perform at high level against some of the better Forwards in the area.
High Point Christian Forward Zach Shumate: We got a chance to get a close look at Zach at the Triad First 48 event, he seems to be comfortable playing his role and is not opposed to play even though he has the ability to make perimeter shots. He sets good screens, makes himself available in the post and does a nice job of reading how to react in pick and roll situations.
