2020 Post Stock Risers
As we begin our analysis of the post prospects in the 2020 class we start off with the prospects at the power forward and center spots that saw their stock boost the most!
Chris Conway (Naperville Central)
Previous Ranking: #27
Current Ranking: #12
Conway really elevated his stock during July. He had one game during the live period where you could see he was starting to put it all together. The ET21 Buckeyes post has a great combination of skill and athleticism. Defensively he can block shots and high points rebounds. Landed several D1 offers since the live period concluded.
Ryan Isaacson (Hinsdale Central)
Previous Ranking: #70
Current Ranking: #33
Isaacson is a very intriguing four man in the 2020 class. The Hinsdale Central 6’7” forward has a lot of mobility to his game. Runs the floor very well and is a good athlete. Pick and pop ability as he shoots it well off the catch. Came away impressed with how he high pointed rebounds in traffic and blocked shots with both hands when we saw him with Chicago Lockdown during the summer.
Frank Jakubicek (Cary Grove)
Previous Ranking: #95
Current Ranking: #48
Jakubicek slimmed down since we last saw him in the spring and his game took another step. During July with the Illinois Wolves he was able to show more quickness and athleticism because of it. He finishes well around the hoop being very efficient when the ball touches his hands. Solid rebounder and can occasionally hit a mid-range jumper.
Keydrian Jones (Collinsville)
Previous Ranking: #77
Current Ranking: #49
Jones is a wide bodied post that has nimble footwork down low and is very mobile for his size. He gets deep post position and carves out space on the interior. Soft touch around the hoop. Intriguing as a wide bodied center with some skill down low.
Marcus Skeete (Waubonsie Valley)
Previous Ranking: NR
Current Ranking: #72
Skeete is a huge jumbo forward that has an imposing body that made a name with HIT 16U. The lefty is a mismatch problem as he is too strong for wings down low and can take big men off the dribble on the perimeter. He is a powerful finisher at the cup. Tenacious rebounder.
