2019 TJ Bickerstaff Recruitment Update
Atlanta, GA – TJ Bickerstaff of Sandy Creek High School is another one of those hidden talents right here in Atlanta. The 6-foot-8 forward is coming off his last AAU season and where he played in the UAA with Team Charlotte (NC), one of the best teams in the nation.
We caught up with TJ’s dad, who is also one of his high school coaches, to see where he sits so far in his recruitment. The rising senior has offers from Charlotte, Bucknell, Georgetown, Mercer, Eastern Michigan, Middle Tennessee, Georgia State, DePaul, Alcorn State, Georgetown, Kennesaw State, UNC Asheville, North Florida, Florida Gulf Coast, Connecticut, Old Dominion, and recently from James Madison.
“James Madison, Georgia State, Florida Gulf Coast, UNC, Charlotte, and Kennesaw State have been in contact with us the most.” his dad tells me. TJ and his father have not scheduled any visits as of yet but are planning too. Drexel, College of Charleston, Houston Baptiste, Indiana State, Fort Wayne, and few others have been expressing interest in the combo forward.
TJ is a versatile forward with guard like skills. He is able to play the three and four positions for his team. He is a good finisher when attacking the basket but can also show his outside range. The rising senior has a good feel for the game with a strong IQ and is expected to have a huge senior year at Sandy Creek.
