1. Height, Weight, Class?
I’m 6’6 weight 175lbs and Class of 2021
2. What brought you all the way to Tucson, Arizona from Chicago?
Yes I’m from and what brought me over here was a better life and to be with family
3. You’re a player that plays with a lot of passion on the court, where does that passion come from?
The reason I play like I do is because it’s just how I was raised I just love being on the court and showing what I can do
4. What is the biggest strength of your game?
I think my biggest strength is my ability to get to the basketball and to get to my spots where I can take the shots I wanna
5. What do you think needs improvement?
I think my three point shooting could improve. Overall, there’s room for everything to improve but I want to focus on my shooting and lateral quickness.
6. You’ve grown physically and skill wise quite a bit this summer. How much more room do you have to grow to get to where you want to be?
I think there’s a ton of room to grow, especially since I’m only a sophomore. I want to play at the highest level and I can see it happening.
7. Which NBA player do you model your game after?
I don’t really model my game after anyone. I have my own style but you can say DeMar Derozan.
8. What’s your goal (basketball wise)?
My goal is to play at the highest level for as long as i can.
9. How important is school to you and your family? GPA?
School is very important to me and my family. They’ve always stressed that as a big part of my life. I have a 3.0 GPA.
10. Is there anything you want college coaches/readers to know about JT Elder?
I’m willing to work as hard as I need to so I can get to the top and stay there.
