Pender HS (5380 NC Highway 53 W, Burgaw, NC 28425): Last season we saw this program make some noise mainly due to the play of its stellar backcourt. This season will be a tad bit different as they have added 2020 Guard Jajuan Carr to the fold to go along with 2021 Guard Khalil Marshall and 2019 Guard Chance Poole. Carr and Marshall have picked up some D1 interest while Poole has caught the attention of programs at the D3 level, this group should be dangerous in an up-tempo style of play.

West Brunswick HS (550 Whiteville Rd NW, Shallotte, NC 284700): This team is one that we have gotten the chance to see this summer and are very excited about what they can possibly be. They are a younger team but the talent that they have on the squad is evident without a doubt. Their highest level prospect is D1 caliber player Jadyn Parker who has made nice strides over the past months and is on tap to have a special season this year. Anytime you have a player his height (6’8) and skillset, then you have to be excited about his potential, another player that we really like in this group is 2021 Guard Makoa Suriago. The sophomore has a nice natural feel for the game and does a good job of getting everyone involved, we look for him to make the next jump in his progression this season which will surely run heads.

South Brunswick HS (280 Cougar Drive Bsl, Southport, NC28461 ) The headliner for this squad is Forward Jace Mckinney who has been impressive throughout the spring and summer. An athletic player with an extremely high motor, Jace has picked up some D2 offers as of late which includes an offer from UNC-Pembroke.

Costal Christian (1150 The Kings Hwy, Wilmington, NC 28409) Look for this group to have a nice amount of success this season with Senior Guard Kamron Greene running the show and Junior Forward Chazz Banks doing his damage inside the paint. They lose 5 seniors after a 23-7 season last year but we fully expect them to have a nice season this year with multiple college prospects on the roster.
