Where Do I Go: Jacksonville, NC Part.2
Northside HS (365 Commons Dr S, Jacksonville, NC 28546): The Monarchs lose a high amount of players this season due to graduation so this will be somewhat of a rebuilding season for the team. However 2020 Forward Quincy Martin is a player that colleges should get familiar with, a legit 6’6 with a high amount of potential, he has a chance to be a very good player and prospect. The rest of the squad is composed of players who we have not seen a ton on the varsity level so it will be interesting to see how things play out.
Lejeune HS (835 Stone St, Camp Lejeune, NC 28547): We are very excited about the potential that this group has this season, we saw them up close and personal all spring and summer. 2020 Guard Malachi Borders is a legit prospect that can score the ball at a high level and is on target to have a breakout season. 2021 Guard Jaylon Armstrong tested high at the College Prospect Combine and will be a player that should have a nice season overall as well. 2020 Guard Jarrod Debose is a player that we haven’t got the chance to see a ton of due to injury but his numbers from last season speak high volumes as he averaged over 15 PPG. 2019 Wing Aaron Pierce is a player that will provide some senior leadership as well as production for this group, he can knock down shots from deep as well as rebounding the ball at a high level.
Dixon HS (160 Dixon School Rd, Holly Ridge, NC 28445) 2020 Guard Everett Lewis is one that should have a very nice season for the Bulldogs, he can score the ball well and has solid numbers during his sophomore season at just under 11 points and 3 rebounds per game.
Southwest Onslow: With a high amount of players playing football we probably wont see them having open gym session, but this is a team to always keep an eye on. In years past they produced quite a few sleeper prospects and have quite a few players that get it done on the court and football field. Senior Guard Dhayrus Thomas had a bigtime season last year and we got to see the physical play of Senior Forward Evan Morley at the College Prospect Combine in July.
