UNCP Elite Camp: 2019s to Know
Butler HS 2019 Forward Rajuan Connor: Nice size and skillset for this youngster, he’s 6’7 with the ability to stretch a defense. He ran the floor, set good screens, blocked shots, and made some nice plays for others from the high post.
South Brunswick 2019 Forward Jace McKinney: It does not matter what setting that you see him in, high school, AAU, Camp, he is going to play with a very high motor and give it everything he has. His strength shows inside the paint with his ability to finish thru contact, and rebounding the ball at a very high rate. At this point he hold multiple D2 offers and is on tap to have a very successful senior season for his high school squad.
Kings Mountain 2019 Guard Zeke Littlejohn: Nice size for a player that can play the wing or off guard spot. Has a smooth shooting form and seems to have what we would call a ‘‘shooters mentality’’ it looks as if he is confident in his shoot and feels the next one is always going in.
Fayetteville Academy 2019 Forward William Oyeondi: Although he was unable to participate in the event, he’s a player that should be on the target list for D2 programs in the area. He has the strength to play through contact and initiates contact with taller player that may not be as strong as he is, he is a bit undersized for a Forward at the D1 level but he fits in well as a D2 Forward. Coker College is one program that already has offered and he has picked up interest from quite a few other programs at that level.
Northside Christian 2019 Wing Cortez Marion-Holmes: Impressive performance from this young man, he scores the ball at a very high level and has a smoothness to his game that you have to like. As the day went on, fatigue seemed to take effect on his game but overall he is a very solid player with nice upside to his game.
