Keyon Thomas (2019)- Bonner Springs
Keyon just picked up his first offer from Drury University and is looking to come out and make a statement at the expo. The highly ranked guard in Kansas has interest from both Division I and Division II schools currently.
Keyon can punish opposing defenses with his next level quickness, good vision, and ability to hit the three ball.
Look for Keyon to shine and be a floor general as he exhibits good communication from the guard position.
Braeden Belt (2019)- Andover Central
Braeden had a breakout performance at the end of the AAU season as SSA Elite went up against MoKan’s EYBL team. He not only showed he could hang with next level talent but excel against it as well, putting on a clinic from long range.
Look for Braeden to show off his shooting ability and position himself in a good spot to be recruited heading into his senior year. He will get a lot of opportunities with Xavier Bell attracting even more attention from defenses.
Kobe Sifford (2019)- Basehor-Linwood
Kobe had a good summer of exposure playing with the MoKan Select 17U team this summer. He is a solid passer and a good shooter and works hard on the defensive end as well.
Poised for a solid senior season alongside Jacob Coleman, Kobe can really increase his stock with a solid performance during this recruiting period at the Top 250 Expo.
Trey Reid (2020)- Maize South
Trey is fun to watch as he is a motored up guard who puts pressure on the ball well and can turn the offensive player over and takes pride in his defense as a whole.
He uses his quickness on the offensive end to get in the lane and make things happen and can also shoot the ball well from three point range.
Big time upside to this young man as I expect him to battle with the 2019 guards and get the best of those interactions.
Jayden Hall (2021)- Wichita Heights
Heights is always loaded with talent whether it’s organically or from the result of transfers and Jayden will be a guard to develop at the school.
He is currently undersized at the guard position but can score the ball and has the vision to make plays as the defense collapses. Keep a close eye on Jayden going forward as he has had good development over summer with the Wichita Padres.
Liam Smith (2021)- Collegiate
Liam is a physical underclassmen guard who uses his body well to finish at the rim and will be able to set the tone with his strength.
He is a smart player who shows good patience offensively for his class and will continue to see the game even better as time goes on.
Grant Johnson (2021)- Kapaun
Grant plays well off two feet and is a good two way player for the class of 2021. For a smaller frame, he uses his body well in the paint and can score the ball consistently.
It will be interesting to see if anyone can slow him down on the ball on September 9.
Max Alexander (2021)- McPherson
Max has the potential to be a highly sought after guard in the years to come if he continues to develop. He already has a good feel for the game, can handle the ball, and can score the ball numerous ways. He played up all summer with a talented Pray and Play team, so he is comfortable playing against older talent.
Little brother of the 2018 standout, Mason Alexander, Max is hoping to follow in his brothers footsteps.
