Recruiting Report: Tujautae Williams (2019)
Orr 2019 small forward Tujautae Williams brought a big crowd of college coaches to check him out during July with the Chicago Demons. The 6’6” wing from Orr was a role player last year for the Spartans, but his upside was obvious. Length, athleticism, and potential skill. Athleticism and burst off the bounce getting to the rim and out in transition is his strength. Made a couple nice passes. Jump shot consistency is going to be a question he will have to answer for college coaches.
Williams talked about working on that jump shot.
“I am adding a lot of stuff to my game. I can hit a mid-range jump shot and can hit a three every now and then.”
How did it go with Orr during June after losing so many seniors?
“It showed me that I have to step up big for my team.”
He holds multiple D1 offers.
“I have offers from Northwestern State, Western Illinois, and Lewis.”
Western Illinois is a local D1 school that has jumped in with an offer.
“I really like them a lot. They came out of nowhere and started recruiting me.”
Missouri State is another school starting to show interest in the Orr wing. He landed an offer from DePaul over the weekend after his performance at their elite camp.
