Palmetto State : Recruiting News & Updates
Prep Hoops takes a look at some recruiting news from around the Palmetto State this past week.
Christian Brown ranked #2 in the Prep Hoops Palmetto State 2019 rankings will look to visit Clemson as his 2nd official visit. Brown visited UNLV back in the summer.
Malcolm Wilson ranked #4 in the Prep Hoops Palmetto State 2019 rankings. Wilson 6’11 has narrowed his schools down to 3. Clemson, Georgetown and Rice are the Final 3 for the Ridge View HS Blazers post player. Wilson will trip to Rice 8/31 and Georgetown 9/14.
Tre Jackson informed Prep Hoops that he will trip to Murray State and Winthrop in the next few weeks. Jackson coming off a great summer for Team South Carolina picked up close to 20 offers this summer.. Jackson ranked #7 in the Palmetto State plays at Blythewood HS. Jackson will visit Murray State 8/24 and Winthrop 8/30. Iowa State recently offered Jackson in the past few days.
Russell Jones informed Prep Hoops that will visit Lincoln Memorial University (TN) (NCAA D2), Winthrop and Longwood this fall. Jones ranked #19 in the Palmetto State rankings from Westwood HS teamed with Jackson this summer on Team South Carolina. Jones a point guard will head to Lincoln Memorial University 8/24, Winthrop 8/30 and Longwood 9/6.
Perry Smith Jr (2022) has transferred to Lincoln Academy in Georgia for next season. Smith Jr 6’7 played this summer with Team United and would of attended North Augusta HS. Prep Hoops first saw Smith last fall. Smith Jr played with North Augusta HS this past June at Coker College Team Camp.
Nazae Baltimore (2019) looks to be transferring to Eastern Alamance HS in Mebane, NC this coming fall. Baltimore 6’6 attended Aiken HS and ran the Grassroots Circuit with the Carolina Pressure. Baltimore seems to be back from some injuries that has hampered him this past season.
Jahnarious Snell (2020) has told Prep Hoops that he will transfer to Combine Academy (NC) this coming season. Snell a shooting guard played at Orangeburg-Wilkinson HS this past season while running the Grassroots circuit with the Carolina Wolves.
