Josiah James #1 player in the 2019 Palmetto State Rankings has narrowed his list down to 4 schools. James a left-handed point guard from Porter Gaud will visit Clemson, Duke, Michigan State and Tennessee this fall. James is back for the Cyclones and looking to win 4 straight State SCISA 3-A Championships.
Juwan Gary #3 player in the 2019 Palmetto State Rankings will take his game north to Charlotte, NC next season. Gary has decided to transfer to West Charlotte HS. Gary a Alabama commit has played his high school career at Gray Collegiate Academy. Gary will join forces with Patrick Williams a member of Team United on the EYBL Grassroots circuit. Gary averaged 20.5 ppg, 8.3 rebounds and 1.9 steals for the Class 2A year.State Champion War Eagles this year. Gary for his efforts was also Named Class 2A State Player of the Year.
Chico Carter Jr. has set up visits for this coming fall. Carter a guard from Cardinal Newman will visit UNC-Charlotte 8/31 , College of Charleston 9/14 and Murray State 9/21. Carter Jr. played on the Under Armour Grassroots circuit this season with Team Charlotte.
Crosby James recently picked up a scholarship offer from Francis Marion University (SC) (NCAA D2). James helped guide the Ridge View HS Blazers to a Class 4A State Championship this past March. James runs on the Grassroots Circuit with Upward Stars Columbia . Lincoln Memorial (TN), Lenoir-Rhyne (NC) and Anderson University all are keeping tabs on James.
Jevon Griffin has informed Prep Hoops that he has left North Myrtle Beach HS and transferred to Socastee HS for his senior season. Griffin a left-handed shooing guard decided on the move with the recent dismissal of Head Coach Alvin Green. Griffin played with the Confidence Cougars on Grassroots Circuit.
Cincere Scott is leaving South Aiken HS and transferring to Ridge View HS he tells Prep Hoops. Scott (2020) is a another solid piece to the puzzle for the already talented Blazers.
