Official Visit Time: Who is Visiting Where

August and September is a time for high school seniors to start taking official visits and find out what college scenario fits them the best. Here is a look at some of the top players in North Carolina and where they are taking their official visits. 

Caleb Burgess

2019 F Kadin Shedrick of Garner Road Basketball Club /Holly Springs HS is on an official visit to Xavier until Friday. He is taking unofficial visit to Virginia on Sunday. He set his final eight schools of Providence, Wisconsin, Indiana, Virginia, Xavier, Florida, Louisville and Wake Forest. 

2019 guard Jayvis Harvey of Southern Durham HS is taking official visits to The Citadel on September 8 and James Madison on September 22. He is in the process of setting up a visit to St. Bonaventure in the next few weeks. 

2019 F Matt Smith of Independence HS/Team Charlotte will take an official visit to UNC-Wilmington on September 7-9.

Keyshaun and Kobe Langley of Team CP3/SW Guilford HS will take an official visit to UNC-Greensboro on August 16-18.

KJ Johnson and Julius Dixon are both coming on official visits to Campbell on October 5th. 

2019 PG Caleb Burgess of Moravian Prep will take an unofficial visit to USC-Upstate this weekend. Burgess picked up offers from Hampton and NC A&T over the summer.

 

Recruiting Update

2019 guard El Ellis will be attending Quality Education in Winston-Salem this year. He has offers from a host of mid-major schools and will fit in nicely with Isaac Pitts in Winston-Salem playing a tougher schedule and going against better opponents in practice. 

Kanayo Obi-Rapu is transferring from East Tennessee State and will have one year remaining.

Jordan Love of Voyager Academy (NC)/NC Red Storm has committed to Southeast Missouri State.

Dontrell Shuler of Bull City Prep committed to Charleston Southern.

Zayvion McLean has re-classed to 2020 and is attending Village Christian in Fayetteville, NC. 

Murray State has offered 2019 PG Chico Carter of Team Charlotte/Cardinal Newman (SC).
