Northwest Guilford Big Three
Northwest Guilford HS is one of the toughest match-ups in the Piedmont. Head Coach Lee Reavis always has a talented team that are skilled and play hard. This next season Northwest Guilford has three prospects who can play at the next level with 2020 Christian Hampton, 2020 Dean Reiber and 2021 Noah Allred.
Hampton is a 5’11 guard that spent this summer playing with Team CP3 on the Nike EYBL circuit. He is a smart guard that knows how to score the basketball. He can shoot it from beyond the arc and can attack off the dribble. He is a smooth shooting lefty that can finish at the rim with either hand. He is very athletic and can finish plays on the break.
Reiber is a 6’9, 2020 forward who is also a high academic player. Reminds me a lot of PJ Hall from Dorman HS in Spartanburg, SC. Long, agile, strong, can really punish the rim on the break or with the quick move in the post. He is a good mid-range shooter, can step out and knock down the long three-point shot as well.
Allred is a skilled 6’6 forward for NW Guilford. He stays under control when he is moving with the ball on the break. He does a good job of keeping the ball high when he catches it in the paint. He can block shots and rebound. He runs the floor really well for a forward, he has soft hands and is good at keeping his feet under himself.
