Michigan Boys Basketball Dual Sport Stars
The start of high school is just around the corner. With that, brings high school athletics. Some of the basketball stars in Michigan participate and star in multiple sports. They are well rounded athletes who also put in the work needed to represent their school on multiple stages.
Zach Yorke (2020, G/F, Millington High School)
Yorke is a valuable piece of the Millington basketball team. He is incredibly versatile, being able to play every position. Yorke is a smart player who keeps mistakes to a minimum. He’s an excellent free throw shooter, shooting 87% from the stripe last season.
This fall, Yorke will be playing Tight End and Defensive End on the Millington High School football team. He is excited to carry on the tradition of success that the Millington football program has established.

Rayvon Williamson (2019, Detroit Community High School)
Williamson is a floor leader on the basketball court. He has a high basketball IQ and keeps his teammates involved. Williamson is as tough as they come on the defensive end. On offense, he is an excellent finisher who is at his best when attacking the basket.
Williamson will be starring on the football field this fall. He is an athlete that will play multiple positions. He’s looking forward to playing with his fellow seniors and preparing the younger players to step up in the future. Williamson wants to make history by leading his team to the state playoffs for the first time in school history.

Maliq Carr (2020, Oak Park)
Carr is the total package as a basketball player. He’s athletic and tough, and causes matchup nightmares for opposing coaches. Carr is great when attacking the basket. He’s strong mentally and is an elite defender. Carr can simply outmuscle most of his opponents, both in the paint and on the dribble drive.
Carr can be found on the football field this season. He is one of the top tight ends in Michigan and has established himself as a high major recruit. He’s a strong kid who can catch anything thrown his way.
