Gathering a list of players and choosing which rank best fits the individual was an extremely difficult challenge, but we do our best to keep them updated every three months. We love finding out about new players, and we’ve done so since our last update. Here is our breakdown piece covering some of the significant newcomers.
#18 | NGONADI OLISA | 6’7 PF | NATIONAL CHRISTIAN
Ngonadi Olisa, a physically imposing, nimble, and active 6-foot-7 power forward from Nigeria, terrorized the summer circuits with 6th Man Warriors. “Big O” was a double-double machine as a junior, but fell beneath our radar. Expect Olisa to churn out consistently productive outings for NCA this winter.
#20 | OLIVIER NKAMHOUA | 6’8 PF | BISHOP WALSH
A player that we didn’t know much about before this summer, but had our attention by July was Olivier Nkamhoua. With Richard Montgomery at the Capitol Hoops Summer League, the athletic 6-foot-8 forward showed that he could potentially be one of the best college prospects to come out of the DMV in 2019.
#36 | CARTIER BOWMAN | 6’4 SF | WEST NOTTINGHAM
Cartier Bowman was the unheralded glue guy throughout the spring and summer for a very talented Team Rio squad. At 6-foot-4, he is a good athlete who showed that he is very efficient with the ball, and makes all the right plays that may or may not show up on a stat sheet.
#63 | ANTHONY BOWMAN | 6’4 SF | ST. CHARLES
Anthony Bowman is one of the most productive, yet underrated players you will find in the state of Maryland. At close to 6-foot-5, he can do a bit of everything on both ends of the court. Bowman will be expected to lead a very good St. Charles team that could surprise some people this winter.
#66 | DJORDJE ORCEV | 6’6 PF | RICHARD MONTGOMERY
Djordje Orcev is a very intriguing prospect not only because of his size, but because he knows how to play the game the right way and can contribute in a variety of ways. At around 6-foot-6, he blocks shots, rebounds, scores, and can create for others at a high level.
