Overall Thoughts on Season:
Even though we didn’t have the top recruits, everyone (from day one) understood their roles as a part of the team and played to the best of their ability. As a result, we had a very successful season and our team accomplished a lot as a whole and as individual players.
Standout Performers:
Jacob Mazrimas (Providence Catholic HS): The 6’5 forward kept the floor stretched, averaging 22 points, hitting 50% from the 3 point line and manned the point averaging 3 blocks per game for the Attack.
Carter Thurman (Plainfield North HS): The athletic 6’4 shooting guard kept opponents on their heels averaging 24 points, shooting 55% from the 3 point line and was a fan favorite with his highlight dunks!
Matt O’Boye (Plainfield North HS): The 6’4 Defensive Specialist was the “glue” to the Attack team. Whole guarding the best offensive opponent, the constant O’Boye shot 50% from the field.
Jakob Setchell (Serena HS): The 6’2 sharp shooting guard was a match up nightmare in the low post from 26 feet. Setchell shot 50% from the 3 point line.
