Over the last couple of weeks, we learned some fun facts about six different players in South Dakota in our “Five facts” series.

We asked the six players to give us four true facts along with one false one.

If you missed any we have them all for you below to take a look.

As always make sure you keep an eye out for the false facts!

Five facts about…

Connor Libis: Sophomore guard from Dell Rapids St. Mary. Libis has played varsity basketball for the Cardinals since seventh grade and had his best season yet last year.

Trent Broksieck: Junior guard for Brookings. Broksieck was the youngest player on the varsity last season and was a solid role player coming off the bench for the Bobcats.

Alejandro Rama: Senior guard for Red Cloud. Led his team to state and averaged 22 points per game. He is one of the top guards in a heavy senior class.

Kade Stearns: Senior guard for Tea Area. Help lead his team to a state title as a sophomore and second place last season. A high energy player that usually plays the majority of the game.

Charlie Cox: Senior guard for Dakota Valley. Had a key role in the Panthers making the state tournament. Averaged just over 11 points a game and will look to be the go-to guy next season.

Max Nielson: Junior guard for Sioux Valley. Was a huge part of the Cossacks making it to Rapid City. Big time player that hits clutch shots.
