Fab 40 Camp: Where are they now ? pt.3
James Kennan HS Forward Jareem Lovette will be playing his college basketball at Howard Community College. He is a player that raise his stock in a nice way during Fab 40 and will only get better with time as he still has a lot of potential and upside left in his game, he’s a legit 6’5-6’6 with nice length and slashing ability.
Northside HS Forward Jason Mixon took a different route and decided to play in the USCAA federation attending Clinton College in Rock Hill SC. Mixon is a player that came along let and is still adding to his game, he had one of the top poster dunks at Fab 40 with a throw down in transition that had the entire crowd shocked.
James B Hunt Guard Jeremiah Ganaway had a situation that was much different than many, he only had the opportunity to play part of his senior year in high school so his recruitment was somewhat slow. He eventually caught the eyes and attention of college coaches at Weatherford College which is where he will spend the next two seasons. Ganaway is a freakish athlete that can be special if he is fully locked in and playing with a high motor consistently.
Voyager Academy Guard Jordan Love is a player you would classify as a late bloomer, initially he was set to go to Beckley Prep for a prep year but he picked up a late D1 offer which could eventually being a steal. Love is currently at Southeast Missouri and the 6’5 Guard will have a chance to do some major things there before it’s all said and done.
New Hanover HS Forward Josh Aldrich was a player that we were quite frankly shocked with the lack of recruitment he was receiving from colleges at the D1 or D2 levels. Eventually USC-Upstate would go ahead and lock him down which should be a nice fit for Josh as well as for the program.
Mount Zion Christian Academy Forward Julian Savoury decided to do a prep year at the program to attempt to raise his stock some more and it has already paid off as he has picked up a d2 scholarship offer. Savoury is long and has good timing on the defensive end which leads to him blocking shots, he has a good amount of upside and will be a player to keep an eye on this season.
