Class of 2021 (Top Wings)
Prep Hoops Missouri takes a look at the top wing players in the Class of 2022.
Jordan Nesbitt 6’6″ St. Louis Christian: A Lutheran North transfers who reclassified into the ’21 class. A big wing player who can score in the post and cause matchup problems with his perimeter skill set. Has already received a number of Division I offers, including Ole Miss.
Nicholas Kern 6’4″ Vashon: A long, active scoring threat who really came on the scene with a big month of July with the Gateway 15Us. Has the ability to score anywhere on the floor. Uses his size and ball handling ability to create his shot.
Kaleb Wofford 6’2″ Nixa: Very talented young wing player who averaged in double figures as a freshman last season. A nice perimeter shooter with smooth handles. He has already received a few Division I offers.
Cachao Gianquinto 6’3″ Battle: Talented wing who broke into the starting lineup as a freshman and averaged eight points a game to help Battle to a Class 5 district championship. An excellent 3-point shooter.
Chevy Brenson 6’3″ Christian-O’Fallon: Active athlete with a high motor who averaged 7.8 points and 4.3 rebounds a game in helping Christian to a district championship and a berth in the Class 3 state quarterfinals.
Najee Williams 6’2″ Truman: A versatile wing player with good length and athleticism. Does a nice job of attacking the rim off the dribble, but will also create his own shot and unleash a smooth jumper.
Brock Wakefield 6’2″ South Iron: An Class 1 All-State performer who averaged 19 points a game as a freshman to lead South Iron to a berth in the district finals.
Jaden Winfield 6’3″ Chaminade: Athletic wing player with an versatile skill set and a high basketball IQ. He attacks the rim in transition and can knock down perimeter jumpers.
Demarcus Sanford 6’1″ Lift for Life: Long athletic guard who stepped in as a freshman and averaged eight points, 3.4 rebounds and 2.7 assists while making 36 percent from 3-point range.
