After the Top 10 in Charlotte
We all know the top 10 2019 players in the Charlotte area, in this article we take a look at the second best 5 players in the Queen City.
Davier Dixon (G, Liberty Heights)-Dixon has the size of a college guard, he is a good ball-handler, can get into the lane and produce. He has a natural scoring ability and can shoot off the dribble or the catch. He is a strong bodied guard that will play at the next level.
Deangelo Epps (W, Carmel Christian)-Epps has a college ready body and is blessed with long arms that he uses to perfection on the defensive side of the ball. His length allows him to guard multiple positions and can score over bigger players. His size helps him get off shots over smaller guards on the perimeter.
Caleb Stone-Carrawell (W, Cox Mill HS)-The son of former Duke standout Chris Carrawell, Caleb is a big shouldered wing that can step out and knock down the long ball and he can score down low in the paint. He has good size and will be used accordingly to replace Rechon Black on the loaded Cox Mill HS team that has won two straight NCHSAA 3-A state titles.
Myles Pierre (G, Carmel Christian)-The guy that made the winning bucket in the NCISAA 2-A state championship game is still vastly under-recruited. He is a smart guard that knows how to score off the dribble. He has a nice array of shot making skills that he uses to get his points. He is a strong defender and can shoot it.
Nas Tyson (G, Forest Hills HS)-Tyson may not be the biggest player on the floor at anytime during the season but he makes up for it with his heart and his ability to score the basketball. He is a skilled guard with a very good handle and is not afraid of a challenge.
