Prep Hoops will take a look at the latest 2020 Stock Risers from the July Period.

Javon Benson (2020) – Ridge View HS – Carolina Wolves 16U  (pictured on front)

Benson 6’7 forward will be eligible to play at Ridge View HS after sitting out last season for the Blazers. Benson started his high school career at Westwood HS. Benson has great length and keeps the ball up on high every time. Benson rebounds very well on both ends of the floor and has the ability to alter and challenge shots. Playing along side of Malcolm Wilson this season gives the Blazers a nice front court in the Palmetto State,

Kaleb Mack

Kaleb Mack (2020) – Legacy Early College – Team South Carolina

Mack 6’2 picked up a few offers this summer from Coastal Carolina University  and Nicholls State. Mack really excels in a game with the ball in his hands Mack handles the ball well in the open court and doesn’t mind shaking and baking at times. Mack still making the conversion over to the point guard should see minutes there this season with the Lions. .

Quentin Hodge

Quentin Hodge (2020) – Lakewood HS – Team South Carolina

Hodge a football wide receiver in the fall for the Gators picked up a scholarship offer from Florida Gulf Coast University yesterday according to Head Coach Bryan Brown. Hodge 6’5 started off at South Florence HS before coming over last season to Lakewood HS. Hodge has great length and a fearless attitude when it comes to playing defense. Hodge needs to more consistent with his perimeter shooting in the future.

Ahmad Brown

Ahmad Brown (2020) – Ashley Ridge HS (Summerville) – TMP 16U

Brown 6’5 could have a breakout year for the Swamp Foxes this coming season. Brown a combo forward is a quick leaper and has great footwork. Brown likes to stalk the baseline and rebounds the ball very well on both ends of the floor.
