Word of God Josiah Shackleford:In his first season at WOG, we are interested to see how thing go for him. Last season at Ayden Grifton he had some solid performances, some of the attributes that he displayed were his athletic and rebounding ability. Rounding out his game offensively will make him that much more of an intriguing prospect.
High Point Christian Academy Zach Shumate:This summer he decided to make the move to HPCA and we feel that this could be a nice opportunity for him overall. We got the chance to get a close look at him during the Blue Chip Academy First 48 event, he played well early on finishing inside the paint and once he gets into top shape, he will be even more dangerous.
South Central HS Dayron Sharpe: The UNC commit will look to have another impressive season this year and help his team make a deeper run in the state playoffs. He brings a little of everything to the table and seems as if he has improved in multiple ways, rebounding, blocking shots, scoring the ball, just about everything you want from a big that’s an underclassman.
Grace Christian Allan Taylor:It’s refreshing to see a big that doesn’t mind banging inside the paint and playing the game in a physical way. He took part of the summer off to work on his craft and we saw some flashes of how good he can be throughout the month of July.
Wesleyan Christian Luke Davis: Luke is taking his talent out west to High point after the last two seasons at South Central HS. Davis has shown with his play that he is a legitimate D1 prospect and the extra year he will have due to reclass will only help with his production and recruitment.
Terry Sanford Kyron Kelly: We have heard some good things about him all summer long and we are looking forward to the high school season to see him perform. At this point we see him as a player that is raw but if he puts in the time on his craft over the next two years, he can develop into a solid guy overall.
