Prep Hoops Staff
Solano County has a very talented junior class. Between the athletes in Vallejo, Fairfield, Benicia and more, the class of 2020 has many gifted athletes and even some that will be Division 1 players. As we head into the 2018-2019 season we were able to come up with an All-Solano County Junior team with the top players at each position.
Jalen Scott – PG 6’0′ St. Patrick’s-St. Vincent’s HS
Scott has a high basketball IQ and has an excellent mid-range game. He does a great job of creating his own shot and also creating for others. He will have to be more aggressive this year in order for the Bruins to make a deep postseason run.
Teiano Hardee – SG 6’3′ Vanden HS
Hardee is turning into a solid two-way player for the Vikings. He is becoming one of the best perimeter defenders in the area and he is becoming more well-rounded on the offensive side. This could potentially be an MVP season for him this year.
Jeremiah King – F 6’4′ Vallejo HS
King had an up and down year his sophomore season with Vallejo but the potential is definitely there. He is a good shooter and has improved with shooting off the dribble. Vallejo will need more consistency out of him.
Dishon Jackson – F 6’8′ St. Patrick’s-St. Vincent’s HS
Jackson is ready to take his game to new heights this year for the Bruins. He had a great AAU season with West-Coast Elite Nor-Cal and holds an offer from a few PAC-12 schools. His development will continue this season as he is on his way to playing high division 1 level ball.
Jhaylon Martinez – C 6’10’ Vanden HS
Martinez is a versatile big man who can handle the ball and also has a good mid-range game. He has also picked up offers from PAC-12 schools and has improved his mobility since last high school season. Expect more offers to come in over the next year.
