2019 Reco Hallmon Jr Recruitment Update
Atlanta, GA – The 6-foot-4 combo guard Reco Hallmon Jr. is coming off a summer circuit in the Adidas Gauntlet where he ran with the Atlanta Celtics and played under his dad in Reco Hallmon Sr., who was the head coach of this Atlanta Celtics squad. Before the AAU season, Hallmon Jr. was a key piece to Grayon’s final four run and where they were two points away from heading to the Georgia class 7A state championship.
Reco is a true combo guard who can play all three perimeter wing and/or guard positions. He is a great spot up shooter and is able to spread the defense with his shooting skills. His defense and rebounding do not go unnoticed either, as at times Reco will guard the opposing teams best player. Without question, the rising senior will play a huge role this season for Grayson.
His lone offer comes from Winthrop University. Loyola Maryland, Wofford, Campbell, Brown, USC Upstate, Wagner, Citadel, Charleston Southern, North Alabama, and Tennessee Tech have all expressed interest in the senior combo guard so far. “We have already taken visits to Tennessee Tech, Winthrop, Campbell, Wofford, and USC Upstate recently”, his dad tells me. Reco and his dad are still planning visits for next month but have not set any dates.
