What We Learned In July: Part 2
2020 Guard Karee Smith finished with the top overall Combine testing score at the College Prospect Combine and played at a high level. Smith is a player that schools should have on their watch list already at this point, he has solid size for a guard, good length and natural feel for the game.
2020 Guard Jase Ford is on target to have a breakout season at Overhills HS, he showed everyone in attendance that he can compete at a high level and is fully capable of going at just about anybody. When he’s playing with confidence and is playing aggressive, he is a player that will catch the attention of college coaches without a doubt.
2019 Wing Josh Hall is a good one and he will see his recruitment heat up this season, he has nice size for a player at the wing spot and a good overall skillset. He’s picked up some Low and Mid Major offers and will only continue to add to the amount of offers he has as time goes on.
John Michael Wright will be a player that is going to turn plenty of heads in GA, he has already picked up multiple D1 offers and is only getting better. Scoring and athleticism are two of the assets that you have to love about him, he also knows how to win and wants to win games, overall good teammate.
2019 Wing Jayvis Harvey can score the ball at a nice rate, has solid size for a wing and plays under control for the most part. He has gotten better and better each time we saw him play and has caught the attention of college coaches at the D1 level.
2019 Forward William Onyeodi made a switch to Flight 22 Fayetteville late in the month and enjoyed some success, he plays strong and can get to the basket at a nice rate. Coker College has already extended and he has picked up some other interest from D2 and D3 programs, one to keep an eye on over the next year.
