Weekend Preview: RecruitLook
The final weekend of July typically demands extreme travel. This weekend EAB skirts down to Orlando. Team Thad and BMaze are out in Las Vegas. A relatively new AAU circuit, RecruitLook successfully recruited a handful of Tennessee teams and prospects to Kansas City.
Between the Sunflower Showcase and RecruitLook Hoops Finale college coaches in attendance will get a good look.
Tennessee Panthers
This week Tennessee Panthers cracked the for the first time all year. Jalen Cincore is the star. Always a skilled guard, Cincore (PrepHoopsTN #49) hit a growth spurt in the last two years.
With his exceptional shooting touch and improving athleticism Cincore is a low major to mid-major prospect.
In the last seven days Cincore netted offers from Canisius, Kent State, Georgia Southern, UNC-Asheville, and Lipscomb. No player in Tennessee gained more offers in the last week.

Tennessee Tigers
The Franklin-based AAU program of annual prestige, the Tennessee Tigers () will eagerly compete in the Sunflower Showcase.
“#TNTIGERS 17u and 16u will both be in Kansas City for the Sunflower Showcase,” shared Tigers Founder and 17u Head Coach Chip Smith. “Of note, 2019s Justin Headrick (PrepHoopsTN #59) and Dionte Ware (PrepHoopstTN #14) along with 2020 Kavon Blankenship were selected to participate in the Larry Hughes Elite Camp today and tomorrow in KC.”
Justin Headrick and Dionte Ware were battling injuries at B.O.T.S. The team played very well, but each of them were slightly limited with lower body injuries. Hopefully the pair can display their talents and athleticism more fully at the Larry Hughes Elite Camp.
Dionte was featured recently in a recruiting update. Justin Headrick is one of the few prospects to be fully evaluated.
Kavon Blankenship is a name to watch in the 2020 class. The lefty gets off his shot quickly and can handle well. He projects as a scoring guard.
The three Tennessee Tigers are the only players from Tennessee in the event. See the full camp list here.
Hawks Elite
The Alabama-based AAU program does run out a Tennessee player or two. One of the top bigs in the state, Devin Evans (PrepHoopsTN #26) is on the Hawks Elite 17u team.
Team Tarheels
The Tarheels are largely unknown program to me, but sophomore Jelani Willis (PrepHoopsTN #37) alerted me that he will run with them in Kansas City this week. They will get five games, including each of the Wisconsin Swing teams.
