Ten Top 2019 Prospects from the ECI Team Camp

My Top Five from 2019

Jae’lyn Withers, 6-9 205, F, 2019, North Mecklenburg HS, Huntersville, NC

Very good prospect, who continues to get better and better in all phases of the game, which is what every player should do. He led North Mecklenburg to the Team Camp Championship.

Jalen Benjamin, 5-11 160, 1G, 2019, Leesville Road HS, Raleigh, NC

Quick on quick on guard, who is solid in all phases of guard play, but he’s also one of the best shooters in the state.

Luke Davis, 6-7 215, F, 2019, South Central HS, Winterville, NC

He’s a powerful leaper, whose hard work is paying dividends, as his outside shot has become a weapon, as has his ability to drive the rock to the hoop.

Shykeim Phillips, 6-1 170 1G, 2019, South Central HS, Winterville, NC

He’s one of the most cerebral and clutch point guards in North Carolina and he makes those around him better.

Nas Tyson, 6-1 180, 1G, 2019, Forest Hills HS, Marshville, NC

He’s a very solid point guard, who has continued to get better and better each year. His play was a key in his school’s drive to the 2A state championship last year.

He’s a very talented player, who showed a lot of heart, playing injured last weekend.

Caleb Gilbert, West Brunswick HS, Shallotte, NC

He’s an above average athlete, who is just beginning to touch the surface of his potential.

Jace McKenney, South Brunswick HS, Southport, NC

He’s a bouncy forward, with a very good shooting stroke.

Phillip Burwell, Millbrook HS, Raleigh, NC

He’s a very solid all around guard, who does a bit of everything for his team and he does it well.

RJ Wilson, Leesville Road HS, Raleigh, NC

He’s the inside force for his team, which has gone deep into the playoffs the last two years.
