Teams To Watch in July: Part 2
MOV Blue: This team out of the West VA area has a nice amount of talent, they have some athletic players that can play above the rim as well as some good scorers. Back in May we got the chance to see them in Greensboro where they turned plenty of heads with their ability on the court, 2019 Wing Shiloah Bivens is one that had the crowd going crazy with his dunks, look for the same this weekend.
Flight 22 (Fayetteville): This time has some intriguing prospects for the Low Major, D2 and D3 levels, Brion McLaurin is one player who has had some success this spring and summer. At 6’5-6’6 he can stretch the floor with his ability to shoot the ball, while 2019 Forward William Oyeondi is more of a power player as he attacks the basket.
Richmond Squires: This is a team that we haven’t got the opportunity to watch yet personally but all signs point to how impressive they can possible be. They have enjoyed a very tradition of talented players and have multiple guys that have moved on to the next level so we are excited to check them out this year.
Team Charlotte: Their reputation for the group is already well known as they have had plenty of success over the years. With numerous players that have the talent to play on the next level they are a team that college coaches have watched on a regular basis. One player that you keep an eye on is Josh Hall, he has the mixture of size, and length and skillset that makes him a difficult player to defend once he gets it going.
Some of the younger teams that are in this event have a nice amount of talent as well. Teams such as: Team Cobras, Team Charlotte 15U , Tem Wall SE15U, Team Felton 16U Turner and others all have 2021 and 22 talent on their teams that you will want to take a look at early on.
