Team Rampage: Key Players for Live Period
The Team Rampage program has shown that it has a bright future as they will have a few players from each age division that will be playing up. Director Antonio Hodges has been working hard on evaluating talent throughout the year and seeing who has made great strides with their development when putting together these teams. As their high school teams enter the last weekend of the NCAA Live period, here is a look at Team Rampage’s key players.
- Dayton Magana – Central Catholic HS PG 5’7′ 2020 17U Elite Magana is a floor general with a high basketball IQ and defends well. He has great leadership skills and can also shoot from the outside. Expect a big weekend from him.
- Deontae Jenkins – Vallejo HS PG 5’8′ 2019 17U Elite Jenkins has a great motor and brings a lot of energy when he steps on the floor. He is willing to pick-up full court on the defensive end, and does a great job attacking the basket.
- Cameron Joseph – Armijo HS SG 6’3′ 2019 17U Elite Joseph is a long skilled guard who plays hard on both ends. He is an excellent slasher, has a really good mid-range game, and has a good motor. He may be the most underrated player in the program.
- Lucky Hampton – Salesian HS SG 6’2′ 2021 16U Elite Hampton is a long guard who forces a lot of deflections and creates a lot of turnovers with his long wing span. He also attacks the rim well and is vocal.
- Daniel Fagan – De Anza HS PG 6’1′ 2020 17U Elite Fagan has a great overall feel for the game and makes really good decisions with the basketball. He can create for others but he also shoots the ball well enough to score when he needs to.
