SAU Team Camp Class of 2020 Standouts
Scotland County 2020 PG Garrett McCray: With the graduation of Niem Ratliffe , he will have the ball in his hands more often and will have opportunities to show that he can lead this team. He has a quick first step, nice ballhandling skills and reads defensive schemes well. The next step for him development wise will be to knock down the outside shot with more consistency, if he can do that then coaches will be dropping in to see him more often.
Scotland County 2020 Forward Trey Graham: Does a bit of everything for his team, he scored the ball at a solid rate, rebounded the ball and made some very nice passes. The team will need him to have a high impact on games if they look to be successful as he is one of the taller and more versatile players on the team.
Scotland County 2020 Wing Kris Mclean: One of the players on the team that has a nice amount of upside, he has a good skillset overall and good size for a smaller college wing player. He seems like he can knock down shots well and does a solid job of defending, played solid throughout the day.
New Life Christian 2020 Guard Phil Martin Jr: In the first game of the day was on fire from deep, reaching double digits scoring wise in the first half. He doesn’t need much space to get his shot off and does a very nice job of moving without the ball, D2 programs should keep a close eye on him.
New Life Christian 2020 Wing Reggie Raynor Jr: One of the better athletes in the building, he has some very impressive tools to his game. He can finish above the rim as well as block shots, his jumpshot is improving as well as his fell for the game, as long as he continues to work he will get his fair share of looks from college programs.
New Life Christian 2020 Point Guard Reggie Walton: One of his better showings that I have seen from him over the past few weeks. In the early game he showed his ability to distribute the ball but let folks know he can score the ball well with a big time scoring game in the 3rd game of the day. One thing that you can say about him is that he doesn’t bring intensity, he gives it everything he has everytime he steps on the court.
