How was his junior season at Willowbrook?
“It was good. We made a deep run in the playoffs. Made it to the sectional championship. First one in like 10 years. It was a huge accomplishment as a team. It was a good year for me. I stepped up with a leadership role. I was a team captain. The offense ran through me and (Ethan) Schuemer.”
Where did he see improvement in his game?
“I think I got a little stronger. I have improved defensively and gotten quicker off the dribble. My ball handling has improved handling it a little safer.”
Masys spoke about the strengths that he brings to the table as a player.
“I am a fighter. I can shoot the lights out. I am ready to play. Whatever they need me to do I will do.”
What schools have been in contact?
“Augustana, MIT, and Amherst. I went to the Brown camp and Princeton camp. Cornell has been talking to me.”
He played with ET21 Buckeyes throughout his career.
