Rebound Kings in LIVE Period (Week 1)
Scoring totals seem to be all we see on Twitter. Sure points are valuable, but rebounding is a skill that recruiters hunt too. Take a look at some of the best rebounders witnessed during the first week of LIVE Evaluation Period.
The list was compiled from the eyes of Houston Wilson (PrepHoopsVA) and Andrew Force (@PrepHoopsTN).
Armando Bacot (Team Takeover 17u)
Bacot is the 21st best player in the country. As he transfers to I.M.G. Academy next month he will be able to pick any college in the nation. This week Bacot is averaging 14 rpg through the first four games.
Dalton Marsh (EAB 16u)
In a low scoring game that required toughness around the rim, EAB 16U won versus Jupiter Jaguars 49-40 and Dalton Marsh had a double-double with 12 points and 11 rebounds.
C.J. Walker (E1T1 17u)
“C.J. has been rebounding very well,” said Houston Wilson Friday afternoon. Walker is likely to climb up from his current ranking of #47 after this month.
Isaiah Stewart (City Rocks 17u)
Revered as the eighth best player in the country, Isaiah is doing what he does best. Stewart is averaging 11 rpg through Friday evening. Look for the unsigned Stewart at La Lumiere this upcoming fall.
Malcolm Dandridge (Bluff City Legends 17u)
Big Malcolm, the only committed player on this list, is showing off his rugged game at Peach Jam. Bluff City won three of their first four games with that daunting frontline (Wiseman, Jeffries, Lawson, Dandridge) deserving full credit.
Andrew Williams (BMaze Elite 16u)
The East Hamilton transfer obliterated Florida Lightning on the offensive glass. He is a quick leaper with long arms and great instincts for the loose ball. We talked about it briefly in this interview below.
