With five seniors moving on from last year’s group, Gonzalez will be relied upon even more heavily.

Gonzalez is one of the best shooters and scorers in the class of 2020. He has a consistent mid-range jumper and shoots it well from 3. Further, he does a good job of crashing the offensive glass as a means of creating extra chances for himself.
Further, he has good length and gets into the paint well despite needing to put on more muscle mass in order to maximize his potential. He is extremely coachable, plays hard, and plays with a championship mentality. He wants to be successful and competes at a high level.
With that said, in order for him to take a huge leap, he needs to improve his consistency on the defensive end of the floor. As it currently stands, he is best fit at a low NCAA Division-I or high NAIA/NCAA Division-II.
