Prospect Introduction: Isaiah Bromell-Hernandez
Standing at 6’6″, 183 lbs., Isaiah Bromell-Hernandez is not your ordinary rising 9th grader.
The 2022 prospect is fresh off his 8th grade season where he averaged 20 PPG and 15 RPG. He says he improved his game a lot a year ago.
He’s going to play for Poinciana and is excited to join the program that won a state title as recently as 2016.
Bromell-Hernandez began his time with Showtime Ballers in May.
“It has been great,” Bromell-Hernandez told Prep Hoops. “It’s a different level of basketball. You have to play hard and compete at all times. Excellence is mandatory.
No offers or interest have come yet for the rising freshman.
Bromell-Hernandez pointed to his ability to score in the mid-post and at all three levels as his biggest strength. He says he wants to continue to improve his ballhandling and 3-point touch.
Time is on his side, but for now, you can see glimpses of steady play. He won’t be bigger than everyone else at the varsity level and he understands he’ll have to do more than he ever has to contribute. Look for Bromell-Hernandez to really help Poinciana’s cause this fall.
