Jamal Murray Elite, who partners with Blue Chip Nation and AZ Power, have some of the top teams in the state. 15U-17U these guys have a number of high level prospects who can compete with anyone. Here is a breakdown of some of the top players in the program to watch during this live period.

Cole Foote 5’10 PG/SG 2021 Desert Vista

Jason Kimbrough 6’0 PG/SG 2021 Mountain Pointe

Kimbrough is as good as any 2021 guard in the state. He demonstrated in his games against Team Harden’s 16U team that he can compete with elite guards in the 2020 ranks as well. Continue to watch Kimbrough as he can flat out play.

Wyatt Bell 6’0 SG 2021 Paradise Honors

Bell is a knockdown shooter with good length. He has a good basketball IQ as well and is solid ball handler.

Malik Mack 5’9 PG 2021 Desert Vista

Jose Miguel 6’2 SF/PF 2021 Maricopa

Grady Lewis 6’6 PF 2021 Sunnyslope

Lewis is constantly competing for space offensively and defensively. He is smart and plays the game the right way. He is solid on the glass and makes an impact everywhere on the floor.

Alex Gaylor 6’6 PF 2021 Sunnyslope

Much like Lewis, Gaylor makes game changing plays. While Sunnyslope lost a lot of pieces from last year’s team, Gaylor and Lewis bring the team good length and athleticism. Further, these two guys are bought into the Sunnyslope style of play as they are physical and always competing.

Shon Robinson 6’10 SF/PF 2020 Higley HS

One of the most versatile prospects in the state. He came to the state from Illinois and immediately made a name for himself due to his length and athleticism. His skill set has improved tremendously as well. He is a high major NCAA Division-I prospect due to his mixture of length, athleticism, and skill.

Eric Blackwell 6’1 PG 2020 Corona Del Sol

Blackwell is strong and has a good basketball IQ. His ability to create for himself and for others aids him in getting the best out of his teammates.

Jalin Anderson 6’2 PG 2020 AZ Compass Prep

Anderson is a strong and shifty guard who can pull off of the dribble. He is a confident shooter from anywhere on the court and more than capable of making plays.

Alem Huseinovic 6’3 SG 2020 Chaparral HS

Huseinovic stood out last season due to his ability to shoot the basketball from 3. He provides this team with a consistent shooting threat from deep who can score in a hurry without having to get a lot of touches.

Evan Skeoch 6’5 SF 2020 Perry

Nashon Harper 6’1 PG 2020 LaJoya

Quick and shifty guard who can get into the paint at will. Further, he understands how to execute an offense and maintain tempo of the game.

Keyshaun Upchurch 5’8 PG 2020 AZ Compass Prep

Jordan Flowers 6’0 PG 2020 Higley HS

Flowers is a decent athlete with good length and a knockdown jumper. He shot the basketball particularly well for Higley this past year while doing a good job of being a consistent distributor.

Kyle Patterson 6’5 SG/SF 2019 Perry

Bottom line: Patterson impacts the game in every facet. He is one of the best rebounding guards in the state while having a good basketball IQ and ability to score the basketball from all three levels on the court. Patterson is an ultimate competitor who does everything it takes to win games.

Mamane Yaou 6’7 SF/PF 2019 Tri-City

Yaou is a skilled lefty who is a capable shooter from deep. He is best at the elbow and in at this point as he is an explosive athlete who can finish the ball at a high level. He has one of the highest upsides out of any 17U prospect in the state.

Carson Mittun 6’4 SG/SF 2019 Seton Catholic Prep

Mittun has good size and is a more than capable shooter from deep. He prefers to shoot in catch and shoot situations.

Fallou Diagne 6’10 PF/C 2019 Tri-City

Diagne is one of the most intriguing prospects in the state. He is a high level shooter from deep who has good size and strength. He has good footwork on the block and a soft touch as well.

Trent Brown 6’2 PG/SG 2019 Pinnacle

Brown has one of the highest basketball IQs in the state. Like Patterson, Brown does everything needed to win games. He is a knockdown shooter from deep who understands where his teammates need the basketball in order to be successful. Defensively, he is good on the basketball due to his understanding of angles.

Aidyn Albright 6’2 PG 2019 Horizon

Alrbight can shoot the basketball as well as any prospect in the state. He has a quick and smooth release. Further, he has improved his ability to score around the rim as he has good athleticism and change of pace that enables him to get into the paint.
