Palmetto State : Signings and Transfers
The new school is fast approaching and some players have just recently made decisions on colleges. Some players have decided to attend new high schools this coming fall. Lets take a look in this article right here of these latest happenings.
Mike Marsh has signed with the College of Central Florida according to Gray Collegiate Head Coach Dion Bethea. Marsh 6’9 had planned on attending South Carolina State this coming fall but had a change of heart. Marsh helped the War Eagles win the 2-A State Championship this past season. Marsh is ranked #34 in the 2018 Palmetto State class.
Tuzion Brock told Prep Hoops that he plans on attending USC-Upstate this fall as a student. Brock a point guard helped lead Greenville Southside HS to back to back state championships in Class 3-A. Brock is ranked #39 in the 2018 Palmetto State Class.
Quinton Alston signed with nearby Allen University (SC) for next season. Alston averaged 17 ppg this past season at Kingstree HS. Alston 6’5 recently played AAU with Big Shots South Carolina.
Kenley Vereen will take his talents to nearby Morris College (Sumter, SC) to play next season. Vereen played this past season at Andrews HS. Vereen got eligible at the semester for the Yellow Jackets.
Collin Fowler (2019) his decided to end his recruitment early. Fowler will play baseball at Spartanburg Methodist College. Fowler a left-handed guard plays basketball at Riverside HS.
Nick Ford (2020) has told Prep Hoops that he has transferred from South Florence HS to Trinity-Byrnes. Ford will have 2 years to play for the Titans and will join forces with former Bruin Jordan Jones (2020). Ford and Jones both started as freshman at South Florence HS.
Carrele Cooper informed Prep Hoops that he will play at Waccamaw HS next season. Cooper (2020) guard was previously attending Andrews HS.
Chris Rhone (2021) has decided to transfer from Northside Christian to Gray Collegiate for next season.
