Prep Hoops will be giving great coverage across the network starting next Wednesday with the start of the NCAA Live Period. Prep Hoops SC will taken in the action at the Peach State (Augusta, GA and Aiken, SC) before coming back to the beach for Big Shots 2 in Myrtle Beach.
Denham Wojcik (2020) #3 player in the class has decided to transfer to La Lumiere (IN) next season to play with his brother Paxson. The older Wojcik just recently committed to Loyola-Chicago and Sister Jean. Denham helped the Porter Gaud Cyclones with the past two 3-A SCISA State Championships and the Cyclones have won 3 in a row currently. Wojcik plays AAU with TMP 17U and Josiah James.
Rashane Duncan recently signed with local junior college USC-Salkehatchie. Duncan a post player is extremely athletic with a great wingspan. Duncan played the past 3 summers with Upward Stars Southeast 2019 on the AAU circuit.
Ahkeem Lawson 6’6 is set to attend Spartanburg Methodist College this fall according to his mother. Lawson a post player played the past 2 seasons at Lakewood HS. Lawson averaged 9.7 ppg and 5.3 rebounds for the Gators last year.
Nilous Hodge informed Prep Hoops that he will be going to Newberry (SC) (NCAA D2) this coming fall. Hodge 6’3 played at Comenius (Fort Mill) and with the QCAA on the AAU circuit.
Kris’Shawn Hickman and Jaquan “Slim” Chestnut will be teammates this coming fall at Rock Valley College in Rockford, IL. Hickman and Chestnut both committed to the Golden Eagles recently. Hickman 6’4 averaged 8.2 ppg and 4.9 rebounds for the Darlington HS Falcons last season.
Chestnut 6’4 one year removed attended Limestone College this past year after graduating at Myrtle Beach HS.
Sam Norton told Prep Hoops that he will walk on at Kent State this coming season. Norton a point guard played this past season at Heritage Academy in Hilton Head. Norton was a Indiana native.
Skylar Williams, Jackie Jackson and Shelton Brown all plan on attending Bull City Prep (NC) next fall according to West Ashley HS Head Coach Ronnie Dupre.

Tuzion Brock 5’11 Point guard – Greenville Southside HS (pictured on front)
Brock won the past 2 state championships for Southside HS. Brock is a tough kid with a great mindset on the floor. Really quite baffled why he hasn’t found a school yet.
Yohannes Utsey 6’6 Power Forward – Orangeburg-Wilkinson HS
Utsey played in the post for the Bruins and averaged a double-double on the season.
Randall Litmon 6’5 Small Forward – West Ashley HS
Litmon a left-handed athletic forward returned to West Ashley HS this past season after playing at Northwood Academy as SO/JR. Litmon averaged 13.8 ppg and 7.7 rebounds for the Wildcats this past season.
Kendrell Generette 6’2 – Guard – Socastee HS
Generette is playing AAU with Manzer this summer according to Coach Shep Guyton. Generette averaged 12 ppg and 4 rebounds this past season for the Braves.
