More Guard Prospects from Charlotte Live
Jordan Love is pure shooting combo guard, who played his high school ball at Voyager Academy in Durham, North Carolina. He’s playing this summer for the NC Red Storm. He has range well beyond the arc and he’s equally adept from mid-range. He is also a solid ball handler and a very intelligent basketball player. His plans are go attend Beckley Prep in Beckley, West Virginia.
Shawn Walker is the son of a coach and he’s a very intelligent player, who can play all three perimeter positions equally well. At 6-6, he’s a very good ball handler and passer and a real team player. In addition to his ball skills, Shawn has become a solid perimeter shooter. He’s an aggressive defender,w who gets low and contains well on defense. He’s playing for Team Felton this month and he’s playing well.
Myles Pierre is a combo guard, who is one tough and clutch basketball player. He was a key performer in Carmel Christian’s drive to the 2A state championship in the NC Independent HSAA. Myles is solid shooter and he’s a clutch shooter as well. He’s strong with the ball and he is a he is a vocal leader. He’s an aggressive defender, who plays with the heart of a champion. He’s never been the primary ball handler, because of his strength and his shooting ability, but I think he is capable of playing the point at the next level, because of his leadership and his will to win.
Jordan McNeill, pictured above, is a good athlete, with good ups and good speed. He also has solid handles and a pure jump shot, to the arc. He’s always under control and he’s a solid on-ball defender. Called upon to be a primary scorer in high school, this young man is a solid point guard prospect.
