For a fraction of a week the hype is dying down.  The gyms are quiet, if only for a handful of hours, and the event organizers are resting…a little.  AAU coaches are undoubtedly telling their wives and husbands that ‘it is just two more weeks’ while trying to do dishes to pacify their spouse.

Of the three strenuous July LIVE periods the first is now complete.  College coaches scoured the country and extended offers.  Several lucky players bite into that first juicy apple of interest.  This is not forbidden fruit.  In fact, this fruit is from the hard years of training and labor.

2020 wing Matthew Murrell (Whitehaven) added a Florida offer.

2019 G KJ Johnson (Marshall County) added a Southeast Missouri offer.  Johnson also earned interest from Arkansas State and Northern Kentucky.

2019 F James Wiseman (East) was evaluated by Kentucky, Memphis, and Indiana head coaches.

2020 G Tariq Daughton (Knoxville Webb) recently heard from Murray State.

2019 G Devan Cambridge (Hillcrest Prep) heard from UMass Lowell and UNC Greensboro.

2019 G Jordan Crawley (Grace Christian) also added interest from Saint Leo and VMI.

Missouri offered 2019 G Antavion Collum (Tennessee Prep).

2019 WG Julius Dixon (Fayetteville) added offers from Belmont, Morehead State, and Samford.

2020 PG Jacobi Wood (Cleveland) continues to hear from Rice, Chattanooga, Butler, Tennessee State.

East Tennessee State offered 2020 WG Emory Lanier (Knoxville Webb).

Class of 2019 Darius Allen (Jefferson County/Tennessee Prospects 17u) was evaluated by and gained interest from Bryan College.  The game they watched Darius scored 27 points with seven made three-pointers.

Both Lipscomb and Furman reached out to 2020 PG Joe Anderson (Maryville).

Class of 2020 PG Marvin Hughes (McGavock) heard from UAB, who recently offered him.
