Explosive Athletes from the Summer Challenge
Ben Carlson 2020 D1 Minnesota Wing
Carlson explodes to the hoop dunking the ball easily. 99% of athletes that are 6’9 can dunk the basketball, but with Carlson, it is much more than dunking. He explodes well past the rim. The biggest impact the explosion from Carlson has on the game is defensively being able to explode for rebounds and adjust shots. He is a lock for a high major NCAA Division I program.
Kerwin Walton 2020 D1 Minnesota Wing
Walton put on a show of athleticism with strong drives to the hoop and good finishes. He made sure to throw down as many dunks as possible exploding through the rim. Walton was one of the better athletes at the event. He is D1 bound with multiple offers already.
Jonam Kazadi 2020 Team Manitoba 17U Wing
Kazadi is a strong physical Wing/Forward prospect playing up an age. The strength of Kazadi plus the athleticism he explodes off the floor with allowed him to finish well inside. He also is springy on the defensive end.
Caleb Muia 2019 Victory Ministry Wing
Muia set the gym on fire when he rose up for a thunderous jam over a defender. He made an impact on both ends of the floor, but probably the biggest
Daniel Chase 2019 SABO Gold Wing
Chase shot up like a firecracker igniting a huge run for SABO Gold. He is super bouncy, which led to several big dunks this weekend. He also used his bouncy to be tough on the defensive end as well.
Cortez Mosley 2019 Illinois Warhawks Wing
Mosley is a super athlete on the Wing with a nice skill set. He attacks the rim with great power and stupid crazy bounce. Mosley is going to be tough to stop all weekend because of his athleticism and burst.
Cade Meyer 2021 Wisconsin Academy Post
Meyer is not a guy that instantly jumps out at you as an explosive player. After watching him over a full game you can clearly see how he is an explosive player and how much it helps his game.
Robert Holmes 2020 Wolverines Wing
The 6’4 talented Wing put on a show of explosive plays throughout the weekend. He most notably capped off a first-round win with an epic poster right before the buzzer sounded.
