College Prospect Combine Class of 2020 Standouts
Overhills HS Guard Jase Ford: One of the top performers throughout the entire combine, Ford scored the ball at a very high rate and plays the game with confidence. He got to the basket pretty much when he wanted, and finished around the rim well while also knocking down some shots from deep, overall a very impressive showing.
Greenfield School 2020 Forward Trey Pittman: There is a lot to like about what he brings to the table, when you add in his height and the ability to knock down shots, then you have a very intriguing prospect. One of the attributes that caught my attention about him is his IQ for the game, he plays the game the right way and doesn’t try to force things.
Kinston Guard Chance Minott: His role for his high school squad will increase without a doubt and he looks like he is fully ready and willing to take control. He can score the ball well but doesn’t have what we would call tunnel vision, he understands making the right play at the right time and is on track to have a very good July and high school season.
Grace Christian Forward Allan Taylor: With the days of taller players wanting to play on the perimeter becoming the norm for us, it’s different to see a player that is comfortable with his back to the basket. Taylor doesn’t mind banging inside and has some post moves in his game that shows that he puts a nice amount of time in to perfect his craft.
New Life Christian Guard Reggie Walton: You know what you’re going to get from Walton each time he steps on the floor, a high amount of energy, intensity and enthusiasm is first of all. Secondly a player that is going to find a way to make an impact on the court, we saw him score the ball well but if his offense is not going he’s going to lock defensively.
Franklin Academy Guard Ethan Beatty: One of the faster guards that we saw in the building he has a nice amount of upside to his game. He showed the he can be a dual threat guard on the offensive end with the ability to score as well as facilitate to teammates.
