Big Shots Myrtle Beach 4 : Hoop State Performers
Prep Hoops took in the action and the last event of the July NCAA Live Period. Big Shots Myrtle Beach 4 was being held at the Myrtle Beach Sports Center. Lets take a look at some of the top performers from the Hoop State in this article.
Creighton Lebo (2020) – J.H. Rose HS (Greenville) – Team Wall Big East (pictured on front)
Lebo 6’2 is the son of former East Carolina University Head Coach Jeff Lebo. Lebo has a great basketball IQ on the floor and makes his teammates around him better by putting them into the right position on the floor. Lebo uses the ball-screen well and has the ability to knock down shots all over the floor. Lebo averaged 20.3 ppg, 4.6 rebounds and 3.4 assists last season at J.H. Rose HS.
Lebo averaged 27 ppg for the weekend at Big Shots Myrtle Beach 4. Team Wall Big East lost in the championship game.
Nick Farrar (2020) – Apex Friendship (Apex) – Big Shots North Carolina 2020
Farrar is just highly efficient every weekend he plays for Big Shots North Carolina 2020. Farrar just 15 years old has the ability to play inside-out on the floor. Farrar is known to pile up numbers on the scoresheets.
Issac Spainhour (2020) – West Stokes H.S. (King) – North Carolina Spartans East
Spainhour 6’2 wing player is one tough kid. Spainhour isn’t afraid to sacrifice his body for a charge. Spainhour connected on several three pointers. Spainhour is a high percentage shooter from the floor and can expect to draw the opponents best defender on nightly basis. Prep Hoops first saw him play with Team Winston last spring.
Derrick Wiley (2019) – Hillside HS (Durham) – Bull City Select
Wiley had a big weekend for Bull City Select. Wiley 6’0 point guard has a great set of gears on the floor to work with. Wiley breezed by defenders and got into the gaps at will this weekend with his play. Wiley helped Bull City Select win the Big Shots Orange Bracket. Wiley played last season at Southern Durham HS where he averaged 11.6 ppg. According to Bull City Select Head Coach James Zimmerman Wiley plans on attending Hillside HS this coming fall.
Deontrae Brown (2019) – Hillside HS (Durham) – Bull City Select
Brown is a RAW talent on the hardwood. Brown recently was offered a scholarship by Charlotte for football next season according to Zimmerman. Brown 6’6 is very light on the his feet and explodes off the floor. Brown plays defensive end on the football field.
