Prep Hoops took in the action from both Big Shots Myrtle Beach 3 & 4 this past weekend. Lets take a look at some players that weren’t in attendance at the event.

Mac Washington

Team Wall Southeast-Marion 2021 group played up for its age group. The squad played without TJ Sanders, Mac Washington and Marcus Lane on Saturday when Prep Hoops watched them play. Sanders and Washington should be key figures this season at Marion HS for Head Coach Andre Weathers. Sanders 6’4 had a solid freshman season where he saw quality minutes playing combo forward. Washington a off guard is a solid defender, plays with great energy and can knockdown shots should see his minutes improve this year.

Lane a point guard also excels as a football player at wide receiver. Lane is a gritty defender on the hardwood.

Tyron Stockdale

Tyron Stockdale wasn’t in attendance when we had a chance to watch the Confidence Cougars this past week. Stockdale a wide receiver at North Myrtle Beach HS will more than likely play football at the college level. Wingate (NC) (NCAA D2) has offered Stockdale a football scholarship for next season. Stockdale had 32 receptions – 720 yards 10 Touchdowns last season.

Travon Pearson

Travon Pearson has been MIA since watching him in early April at Big Shots Columbia. Pearson 7’2 will enter the 9th grade this coming fall at Lee Central HS in Bishopville. Pearson wasn’t with his AAU all July and was last seen by Prep Hoops in June at Coker College Team Camp. Pearson didn’t dress that day as he just sat on the bench in street clothes. Pearson could see quality minutes this fall for the Stallions if he decided he really wanted to focus on the game of basketball. The Stallions lost 11 kids to graduation from last seasons team.

Seth Rivers

Seth Rivers wasn’t in attendance but to his defense he hasn’t played AAU all spring and summer. Rivers 6’7 at Stall HS led the state last season in block shots. Rivers was working a job all summer according to the coaches at Rock Nation Impact a team he would probably be playing with if he decided to play.
