Big Shots CLT: Top Shooting Performers
WCBA 2019 Guard Jeff Fortuny: We were very impressed with the performances that he put together during the Team Camp season in June. In this event he showed us that it wasn’t something that was a fluke, in one of the games on Saturday he went for 32 points knocking down 10 treys. Yes, 10 treys, not only was that impressive but the efficiency that he accomplished this with was outstanding, he has picked up interest from D2 and D1 programs up this point with offers already from Salem & Lees Mcrae.
Charlotte Dragons 2019 Guard Seth Bennett: Solid overall showing and upside for this Shooting Guard Prospect. He does a nice job of moving without the ball and making the most of the opportunities that he gets, good shooter that has a fundamentally sound game overall.
Big Shots Elite 2019 Guard Ryan Shaffer: One of the better overall performers throughout the day, Shaffer put on a scoring exhibition. He’s another player that moves very well without the ball and is efficient, one thing you always love is a player that can get buckets within the flow of the team offense.
Team Loaded 757 Bridgeforth 2020 Guard Brandon Hermon: He filled it up just about all weekend with his ability to score the ball from deep and he didn’t need many FGA to make it happen. He has a nice IQ for the game, good shooting form and place the game at the tempo that he is most comfortable with.
WCBA 2021 Guard Chase Hakerem: We didn’t get the opportunity to see much of him but he is a player that is on the rise and his ability to shoot the ball is clear. Don’t be fooled into thinking that his big time shooting numbers means he is a one dimensional player because that could be further from the truth. He can break down a defender with his ball handling skills and is a gifted passer as well, one to keep an eye on for sure over the next 3 years.
Southside Ballers 2018 Wing Zach Vincent: Could be a very nice pickup for a smaller college program at the NAIA, D3 or JC level this late in the game. He knocked down shots at a high rate and was very successful in catch and shoot situations, taking a quick glance at his high school numbers from this past year, the 6’3 wing put up 10 point and 7 rebounds a night.
