Big Shots CLT: 2019 Names To Know
Red Storm 2019 Guard Evan Cheek: Already has a strong frame as he enters into his senior year of high school basketball. Scoring the ball is one of the things that he does very well, he can get into the paint as well as knocking down shots from outside.
Southside Ballers 2019 Guard Dyshun Smith: Did a nice job of scoring the ball as well as being active on the glass, he is a tough player to defend when he’s out in transition and that showed on Saturday. One of the main things that we like about him was the fact that he didn’t settle for outside shots, he constantly attacked the paint and made the defense uncomfortable.
Flight 22 2019 Forward Miles Ray: One of the better performances that we got the chance to see from him over the past few months, he was a beast on the boards and finished inside the paint. At about 6’4 ish he is somewhat undersized at the Forward spot but for the right college he can fit in well, outstanding showing from Miles.
Red Storm 2019 Wing Brandon Franklin: He’s picked up interest from colleges at the D3 and D2 level due to his height and the ability to shoot the ball. A legit 6’8, he shows flashes of how good he can be throughout certain moments of games, staying aggressive and living in the weight room is the key for him to be successful.
CEBA 2019 Guard Michael Savarino: One of the names that many have heard of due to the fact that Coach K is his grandfather, however this young man can play this game regardless of who they related to. His ability to knock down shots from mid and deep as well as his IQ for the game are all things that you have to appreciate.
Red Strom 2019 PF Ody Oguama: There is a lot to like about this youngster, including the upside that he brings to the table. At 6’9 he runs the floor and blocks shots, he also will be doing a prep school year which will give him more time to round out his game but he has proven himself already as a D1 guy.
