Big Shots Charlotte : Players on the Move
Prep Hoops takes a look at players on the move this coming fall to new locations.
AJ Vaught (2020) – Pee Dee Academy (Mullins) to Marion HS (pictured on front)
Vaught left-handed guard informed Prep Hoops that he will leave the small SCISA 2-A school to attend Marion HS. Vaugh averaged 14.8 ppg last season for the Eagles. Vaught will join forces with TJ Sanders and Mac Washington at Marion HS. All 3 players play with the Team Wall Southeast-Marion organization.
Destin Clark (2021) – Indian Land HS to Comenius (Fort Mill, SC)
Clark a physically gifted guard informed Prep Hoops that he has transferred over to Comenius for next season along with reclassifying into the 2021 class. Clark played AAU with Team Loaded 704 this past weekend.
Khalil Marshall (2021) – Pender HS (Burgaw, NC) to Wilson Prep Academy (Wilson, NC)
Marshall had a great freshman season for the Patriots while averaging 19.9 ppg, 6 assists and 4.1 rebounds. Marshall told Prep Hoops that he will attend Wilson Prep Academy this coming fall. Marshall has a great knack for scoring the ball. Marshall show to have a quick shot release. Marshall plays with WCBA Elite Blue 2020 on the AAU circuit.
Jalen Hinton (2021) – Concord First Assembly (Concord, NC) to Butler HS (Matthews, NC)
Hinton 6’0 can score the ball at all 3 levels on the floor. Hinton hit several shots from mid-range out to the three point line. Hinton plays with Team Charlotte 15U on the AAU circuit. Hinton confirmed is transfer to Butler HS after playing Team Wall Southeast-Marion 15U.
Daniel Lobach (POST) – Cape Fear Christian Academy (Erwin, NC) to Moravian Prep (Hickory, NC)
Lobach confirmed to Prep Hoops that he will do a post graduate year at Moravian Prep for Head Coach Jeremy Ellis this fall. Prep Hoops first saw Lobach when he arrived as a home-schooled kid at Cape Fear Christian Academy at the I-95 Tourney before Christmas. Lobach 6’7 is playing with Big Shots North Carolina 2019 in Deerfield Beach, FL during the last NCAA Live Period.
Quinton Alston (POST) – Kingstree HS (Kingstree, SC) to Olympus Prep (NJ)
Alston 6’4 is like a swiss army knife on the floor. Alston really came out and had some strong games here at Big Shots Charlotte. Prep Hoops had Alston scoring 40 points vs North Carolina Storm while connecting on 8 three pointers. Alston had a good showing vs the Southern Kings on Sunday also. Alston averaged 17 ppg this season for the Jaguars. Alston is running AAU with Big Shots South Carolina 17U.
