Adidas Three Stripes (Class of 2021 Wings)
Here is a look at some of the top Class of 2021 wings from last weekend’s Adidas Three Stripes at Lindenwood University in St. Charles, MO:
Nicholas Kern 6’4″ Gateway 15U
The lanky shooting guard from Vashon was one of the most impressive young players at the event. His size, length and versatile one-on-one skill set made him very difficult to stop over the weekend. He was very good in iso situations with his ability to handle the ball and create his own shot, whether it was the drive or the pull up jumper. He was also good at getting buckets in the post. He received a Division I offer from DePaul over the weekend. Major upside.
Jaden Winfield 6’3″ Ramey-Jets United 15U
A talented young wing player from Chaminade who combines excellent athleticism, good skills and a high basketball IQ. He is a versatile offensive weapon, but he is also very unselfish. He attacks the rim well on the drive and has a nice pull up jumper from the mid-range. He doesn’t try to force things as he is always looking to make the right basketball play. He’s capable of playing anywhere on the perimeter.
Chevy Brenson 6’3″ Brad Beal Elite 15U
An athletic wing from Christian-O’Fallon who plays the game with a lot of activity. He comes to play every day and his high motor serves him well on both ends of the court. He is a solid ball handler who attacks the basket and finishes at the rim very well. He is also a very good rebounder from the guard position. Has all the physical tools to be a lock down defender on the wing. Will also be a prospect in football.
Myles Estrada 6’0″ Larry Hughes Basketball Academy 15U
A tough shooting guard from Francis Howell Central who will not back down from anyone. He is an excellent 3-point shooter off the catch who can really catch fire when he is on. He is also strong physically, which enables him to operate in the low post where he had a lot of success. He proved to be a bucket in the post, where he was very comfortable.
Jack Pronger 6’4″ Gateway 15U
A promising young wing from MICDS who has good size and length and he also moves well. He is a knock down shooter from 3-point range off the catch. He also did a nice job of hitting a couple one-dribble pull up jumpers when defenders close out on him to aggressively. He also moves without the basketball and is an excellent passer who can really hit the open cutter on the money.
